China's fastener mold technology industry market demand is strict

With the continuous advancement of mold technology, the development of fastener molds has also seen significant progress. As a crucial component in industrial manufacturing, fastener molds must meet high-quality standards. As technology evolves, the demand for more precise and efficient fastener molds is growing rapidly. As China's economy enters a stable growth phase, the industrial structure is continuously being optimized, leading to higher quality expectations for manufactured goods. This shift demands more advanced and reliable fastener molds. It is anticipated that China’s fastener mold industry will increasingly focus on high-end development to meet these rising standards. In recent years, China's mold industry has made remarkable progress in standardization, specialization, and commercialization of mold parts. However, there is still a gap when it comes to high-tech, high-performance, and easily replaceable fastener molds. Due to this limitation, many companies continue to rely on imported fastener molds annually. To bridge this gap, domestic manufacturers need to enhance their technical standards, invest in research and development, and improve product quality. Many developed countries place great emphasis on fastener technology, with standardized molds playing a central role. In contrast, China's mold standardization efforts started later, resulting in a limited variety of specifications, small production scales, and inefficient market circulation. Most of China's fastener molds are low to medium grade, while high-end models from foreign companies remain expensive and less accessible. The Chinese fastener mold industry is fragmented, with too many small factories spread out across the country. This lack of concentration leads to inconsistent product quality and intense market competition. The sector still faces challenges in achieving efficiency and uniformity. Looking back at the "10th Five-Year Plan" for the mold industry, one of the goals was to expand the range of fastener molds, improve precision, and ensure interchangeability. Even with the "12th Five-Year Plan," China's fastener mold industry still lags behind global leaders. Many advanced fastener types that have been widely used abroad are not yet produced domestically. As a result, medium- and high-grade fasteners are largely imported, while lower-performance products are used in less demanding applications.

Screws

A Stud is a type of fastener that has no head, but only external threads on both ends. When connecting, one end of it must be screwed into the part with internal threaded hole, the Other end through the part with a through hole, and then screwed on the nut, even if the two parts are fastened into a whole. This type of connection is called a stud connection and is also a removable connection. It is mainly used in cases where one of the connected parts has a large thickness, requires a compact structure, or is not suitable for bolting because of frequent disassembly.
