By entering the product number, users can access details like the manufacturer, production date, and specifications—this is the most effective way to verify the product’s legitimacy. When testing fake products, the system returns a message stating, “This product information cannot be identified.â€
To minimize the risk of purchasing counterfeit fire equipment, it is recommended to buy from authorized manufacturers and dealers. These suppliers provide complete documentation, including certificates of conformity, business licenses, and inspection reports from recognized authorities. All legitimate fire protection product suppliers must also present proof of supply issued by the Guangdong Public Security Fire Department.
Consumers can also assess the authenticity of fire products by examining their appearance. Fake products often have rough finishes, unclear labels, and packaging that lacks precision. In contrast, genuine products have clear color distinctions, and their identity labels are difficult to remove without damage.
