Microencapsulation is a sophisticated technology that involves enclosing small quantities of active substances within a thin polymer shell. This method serves as an advanced form of micro-packaging, allowing the storage of solids, liquids, and gases in a controlled manner. Among the various pesticide formulations, microcapsules represent one of the most technologically advanced options. While they currently hold a relatively small share of the pesticide market, they are not yet the dominant form.
