Mirror Electrolytic Polishing Technology and Production Practice of Aluminum Profiles

It is suitable for aluminum materials with special glossy surfaces in interior decoration, industry and technology fields. Production of mirror aluminum, aluminum processing companies generally use aluminum after the first mechanical polishing, and then using three acid chemical polishing, electrochemical polishing two methods. Traditional tri-acid chemical polishing, due to the presence of nitric acid, produces a large amount of yellow NO2 gas at the time of production, which is toxic and severely pollutes the environment. The improved tri-acid chemical polishing also produces a large amount of white smoke, and is also very polluting to the environment. In recent years, diacid chemical polishing has been introduced. Since nitric acid is not added, no poisonous gas is produced. However, the polished aluminum profile surface is slightly less bright than tri-acid polishing or electrochemical polishing. Traditional electrochemical polishing requires the addition of chromium ions, which seriously pollutes the environment. The polishing process used requires a current density of 20 to 30 A/dm2, wasting energy. Now, our company uses an electrochemical polishing process with phosphoric acid as the main additive and a polishing agent. It has no smoke, no toxicity, energy saving, low current density, no emission, and can be used for a long period of time.
