"Eyan Diamond Industrial Park" lays a new foundation for development

Abstract The Eyan Diamond Industrial Park, initiated by the People's Government of Echeng District in Ezhou City, has seen significant progress since its groundbreaking in September 2012. After half a year of construction, the first phase of the park is now set to enter trial production this April. Yanzhou Town, known as the "First Diamond Tool Town in China," has become a key hub for diamond manufacturing and innovation. In response to the government's initiative promoting hometown entrepreneurship and job creation, many enterprises that once operated abroad have returned to their roots, aiming to start businesses and create employment opportunities locally. This movement not only boosts the local economy but also enhances the quality of life for residents. The Eyan Diamond Industrial Park, with a total investment of 1 billion yuan and a planned area of 500 mu, is expected to drive industrial development. The first phase will involve an investment of 500 million yuan and cover 300 mu. Designed to support returning entrepreneurs, it marks a shift from traditional tool-based production models and aims to build a competitive diamond industry chain, creating a win-win environment for all park enterprises. Currently, several companies specializing in diamond raw materials, diamond tools, graphite manufacturing, powder metallurgy, and diamond equipment have already established themselves in the park. Once fully developed, the park is anticipated to attract a diamond factory, a diamond equipment manufacturer, a metal powder plant, and over ten diamond tool manufacturers, forming a complete industrial cluster in both the park and surrounding areas. By strengthening the diamond industry, the park seeks to foster collaboration and achieve strategic, long-term success.
