Historically, two major radiator production bases existed in China. One was in Qingxu County, Taiyuan, Shanxi, which dominated the gray cast iron radiator market, accounting for over 70% of national output. While this area is still significant, its share has declined with the rise of newer radiator technologies. Another base was in Heilongjiang, especially in Daqing and Acheng, where steel finned tube radiators were produced. However, the high-quality and cost-effective welded finned tubes from Shanxi’s Niangziguan area are now gaining ground and may soon replace Heilongjiang as the primary production center. The Beijing-Tianjin region is considered China’s new radiator production hub not only because of the large number of companies but also due to their strong financial backing. Out of the six radiator companies that invested over 100 million yuan in China (Sunde, Beixin, Jintaige, Reiterge, Spring Breeze, and Enthusiastic), four are located in the Beijing-Tianjin area. Sunde, one of the top-selling radiator companies in China, is based in Beijing. Additionally, four out of the five major companies with advanced technology, automation, and mechanization (Beixin, Sunde, Jintag, Reitge, and Changzhi 7445) are located in this region. Beijing remains the largest radiator market in China. As a result, the Beijing-Tianjin area is not just a production base for new radiators but also a comprehensive hub that gathers leading enterprises, innovative products, and large-scale professional retailers.
