On the 26th, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology officially released the third batch of companies that meet the "Rare Earth Industry Access Requirements." A total of 11 companies were included in this list, highlighting the ongoing efforts to regulate and standardize the rare earth sector. The selected firms include both metal production and smelting & separation enterprises.
Among the metal production companies are Youyan Rare Earth New Material Co., Ltd. and Ganzhou Keyli Rare Earth New Material Co., Ltd. These companies specialize in the development and manufacturing of advanced rare earth materials. On the smelting and separation side, the list includes Baotou Huamei Rare Earth High-tech Co., Ltd., Guangdong Zhujiang Rare Earth Co., Ltd., Fuyang Luodi Asia Rare Earth New Material Co., Ltd., Jiangxi Gold Century New Material Co., Ltd., Zhangzhou Jidong Rare Earth Group Co., Ltd., Jianghua Yao Autonomous County Xinghua Rare Earth New Material Co., Ltd., Sichuan Suining County Fangxing Rare Earth Co., Ltd., Leshan Shenghe Rare Earth Co., Ltd., and Sichuan Leshan Ruifeng Metallurgical Limited. These firms play a critical role in processing raw rare earth elements into usable forms for various industries.
Notably, Luzhou Keli Rare Earth is an associated company of Zhongke Sanhuan (000970), while Baotou Huamei Rare Earth is a subsidiary of Baotou Steel Rare Earth (600111). Guangdong Zhujiang Rare Earth is part of Guangyu Nonferrous (600259) and is involved in rare earth research and development. Additionally, some of these companies are affiliated with Silicon Silicon (600206), as they are controlled by the same major shareholder.
