**Precautions**
1. Make sure to check the motor's power rating and voltage before selecting the appropriate wire size to ensure safe and efficient operation.
2. Verify that the connections for pure water and wastewater are correctly installed to avoid cross-contamination or system malfunction.
3. Confirm the wire gauge of the main power line and ensure a leakage protection switch is in place to prevent electrical hazards.
4. Do not use the reserved wiring for the liquid level switch or high-pressure controller next to the automatic flush timer as a power input, as it may cause damage to the system.
5. Install an automatic water softener, and make sure that during backwashing of the RO unit, the device stops rotating to prevent the RO membrane from drawing in brine water.
6. Check the correct inlet (IN) and outlet (OUT) sizes on the automatic water softener to ensure proper flow and functionality.
7. Before installing the soft water unit, fill the pressure pump with a full-water stop device to avoid motor damage caused by dry running of the pump.
8. Clean the pre-treatment equipment daily, including the quartz sand filter and activated carbon filter, to maintain a steady supply of clean water to the main unit.
9. If the system is equipped with a UV germicidal lamp, adjust the power supply carefully and avoid sudden power fluctuations that could damage the lamp.
10. If the pretreatment uses a scale inhibitor instead of softening, it’s recommended that users manually manage the pure water system and regularly add anti-fouling agents. Always keep the scale inhibitor from the chemical kit ready for use.
**Suggestions**
1. When installing the system, it’s best to include a multimedia filter, automatic water softener, or scale inhibitor to protect the RO membrane and extend its lifespan.
2. Ensure that the automatic water softener is regularly supplied with coarse salt for resin regeneration to maintain its effectiveness.
3. If an automatic water softener is not installed, adjust the pure water to waste water ratio based on the quality of the raw water to prevent membrane fouling.
4. If the raw water inlet pressure is below 2.0 kg/cm², install a pressure booster pump at the front of the system to ensure sufficient pressure for optimal performance.
5. The factory has reserved wiring next to the automatic flush timer for liquid level control, pressure switches, or float ball level controllers—choose one type for installation.
6. Purchase the softening reagent produced by our company to monitor and check the water quality after resin treatment and discharge.
7. If the pure water output decreases by more than 10%, or if the salt content in the product water increases, or if the pressure difference across the membrane exceeds 15 PSI, have a professional clean the RO membrane to restore efficiency.
By following these precautions and suggestions, you can ensure the system operates safely, efficiently, and with minimal maintenance.
