**Precautions**
1. Make sure to check the motor's power rating and voltage before selecting the appropriate wire size to ensure safe and efficient operation.
2. Verify that the connections for the pure water and wastewater lines are correctly installed to avoid cross-contamination or system malfunction.
3. Confirm the wire gauge of the main power line and ensure that a leakage protection switch (RCD) is properly installed for safety.
4. The wiring reserved for the liquid level switch or high-pressure controller next to the automatic flush timer must not be used as a power input line, as it could lead to electrical faults.
5. Install an automatic water softener, and make sure that during backwashing of the RO unit, the device stops rotating to prevent the RO membrane from drawing in brine water.
6. Check the correct inlet (IN) and outlet (OUT) sizes on the automatic water softener to ensure proper flow and performance.
7. Before installing the soft water machine, ensure the pressure pump is fully primed with water to prevent motor damage caused by dry running.
8. Clean the pre-treatment equipment daily, including the quartz sand filter and activated carbon filter, to maintain consistent water supply to the main unit.
9. If the system is equipped with a UV germicidal lamp, adjust the power supply carefully and avoid any sudden power surges that could damage the lamp.
10. If the pretreatment uses scale inhibition and dosing instead of softening, it is recommended that the user manually manage the pure water system and regularly add the anti-fouling agent. Always keep the scale inhibitor from the chemical kit ready for use.
**Suggestions**
1. When installing the system, it is highly recommended to include a multimedia filter, automatic water softener, or scale inhibitor to protect the RO membrane from damage.
2. The automatic water softener requires regular addition of coarse salt to regenerate the resin and maintain its effectiveness.
3. If no automatic water softener is installed, adjust the ratio of pure water to waste water based on the quality of the raw water to protect the RO system.
4. If the raw water inlet pressure is below 2.0 kg/cm², install a pressure booster pump at the front of the system to ensure proper operation.
5. The factory-prepared wiring next to the automatic flush timer is intended for the liquid level control line, pressure switch, or float-level controller—choose only one type for installation.
6. It is strongly advised to purchase the softening reagent produced by our company to monitor and ensure the quality of the softened water.
7. If the production of purified water decreases by more than 10%, or if the salt content in the output water increases, or if the pressure difference across the membrane exceeds 15 PSI, it is time to have a professional clean the RO membrane.
This detailed guide ensures safe and effective operation of your water treatment system, helping you avoid common issues and extend the lifespan of your equipment.
