The product works by utilizing the biological control mechanism against plant viruses. The active ingredient, Pseudomonas fluorescens, inhibits pathogenic bacteria by competing for space and nutrients, thereby preventing disease development. In addition to its disease-suppressing effects, it can also produce auxin-like substances that promote root growth, helping to reduce root rot issues. It effectively controls problems like seed rot, seedling death, and dry plants in wheat, with good results on wheat total etch disease, root rot, and sheath blight. It’s also useful for controlling bacterial wilt in tomatoes and tobacco, while offering dual benefits of disease prevention and fertilizer enhancement. It has some efficacy against cotton blight, mites, tobacco black shank, and rice sheath rot.
For wheat, use 1.0–1.5 kg of 500 million/g wettable powder per 100 kg of seeds after soaking. For irrigation, mix 100–150 g of the wettable powder per 500 g with 100–150 kg of clean water and apply directly to the roots. To control tobacco bacterial wilt, use 512.5–662.5 grams of 300 billion/g powder per acre, applying through soaking, pouring, and root filling. When treating tomato bacterial wilt, dilute 100 million/ml liquid at a ratio of 100:1. China's Pesticide Network recommends using 437.5–550g of 300 billion/g powder per acre for soaking, pouring, and root filling.
Precautions: Avoid direct sunlight during seed treatment. Ensure the solution reaches the root zone when applying. Do not mix with other pesticides or fungicides unless specified. Store in a cool, dark, and dry place, and keep the product sealed.
