The main topics of this meeting are: (1) the handling of voting opinions of IEC/44/659/RVN member states; (2) the determination of the work plan of IEC 60204-34; and (3) the discussion of IEC 44/649/NP Proposal to develop a draft IEC60204-34 working group.
Since the successful submission of the first international standard for machine tools in China on January 20, 2012, the IEC60204-34 project leader unit and the standard committee secretariat, Beijing Machine Tool Research, have done a lot of preparatory work. Two domestic expert working group meetings and one Sino-Japanese joint working group meeting were held, and extensive and in-depth discussions were held on the voting opinions of the member states and the revision plan of the standard proposal. The IEC 60204-34 standard proposal was proposed by the National Industrial Machinery and Electrical Systems Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC231) to organize the industry backbone enterprises, and was led by the Beijing Machine Tool Research Institute, the affiliated unit of the SAC/TC231 Secretariat. The IEC 60204-34 standard proposal stipulates the “safety requirements for electrical, electronic, numerical control, programmable electronic equipment and systems of machine toolsâ€. It is one of the core safety standards of the machine tool industry and is directly related to the safety and import and export of machine tool products. trading. The official launch of the project marks a new step in the substantial participation of China's machine tool industry in international standardization work, reverses the passive situation of China's international standardization of machine tools, and enhances the quality and level of China's participation in international standardization activities.
