Jiang Xiaoyi, a full-time hydraulic supervisor of the Jiangsha Chaoshan Experimental Power Station, said that the power station dam reinforcement and reconstruction project mainly includes strengthening of the external components, external rock foundation protection, pond roof, traffic roads and other dam components, and there will be some Lighting project. Wang Haoping, deputy stationmaster of the power station, told the reporter that after the dam is reinforced, the reservoir dispatching capability and the power generation and operation safety performance of the power station will be greatly improved.

It is understood that after the renovation, the flood control level of the Jiangsha Chaoshan Experimental Power Station Dam will reach the standard of 20 years, and it will also become a scenic tourism tourist belt.

Jiangxia Chaoshan Experimental Power Station is located in Jiangxiagang, Yueqing Bay, southwest of Wenling City, Zhejiang Province, and is the first tidal power bidirectional power station in China. Unit 1 was put into production on May 4, 1980 and completed its construction in December 1985.
