Introduction to Drier

There are two types of driers:

A driers for the dishwasher, dedicated to the final water-passing rinsing agent of the dishwasher, which reduces the surface tension between the tableware and the water. Promotes rapid drying of the dishes without leaving liquid streaks. This product is safe to use and suitable for all kinds of tableware and will not cause damage to any materials and tableware or dishwasher. With a fully automatic dispenser, the standard rinse solution has a concentration of 0.01% to 0.1% and the water temperature is between 80 °C and 90 °C. Different types of dishwashers require different concentrations. Good wettability, rapid drying, no water stains. The tableware after use is clearer and brighter. Reduce cutlery and prevent bacterial infection. Contains a defoamer to quickly eliminate foam and remove food stains more effectively.

The other is industrial drier, industrial drier is the main auxiliaries of the coating industry, its role is to accelerate the oxidation, polymerization, drying of the film, to achieve the purpose of quick drying. Traditional cobalt, manganese, lead, zinc, calcium and other organic acid soap driers are available in a wide variety of colors, some with high prices and some with toxic effects. The rare earth drier product developed in recent years has better solved the above problems, but it can only partially replace the cobalt drier which is low in price. The development of new, completely substituted cobalt driers has been an urgent desire in the coatings industry.

The biggest difference between the two is the toxicity. The dishwasher drier is required to be in contact with dishes, so it is required to be non-toxic, while the industrial drier is mostly solvent, which has a rapid volatilization effect.
