The second phase of the expansion project for the Cuban-Venezue joint venture refinery Camilo Cienfuegos refinery is about to start.
The expansion project includes eight buildings, with an overall volume of up to 5 million cubic meters, including related supporting industries, warehouses, buildings, and administrative buildings. After the expansion, the refinery will increase the daily processing capacity of oil refineries from 65,000 barrels to 150,000 barrels.
The second phase of the refinery's land relocation will be completed in the first quarter of 2012, and the expansion of the basic project will also be completed by half. Since the opening of the ancient commissioned joint venture refinery in 2007, the production plan has been completed very well.
